Security settings in User Management

In this article, you will find all the available options to ensure secure platform access for your hotel staff.

Below are the security measures available for your hotel’s users:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Login: This authentication system allows users to access multiple applications and websites using the same credentials. By requesting SSO activation, your team will be able to log in to our platform using a Google or Microsoft account. Please note that this access is only available for users who have already been created in the platform.
  • Inactivity Logout: By default, the system will automatically log users out after 180 minutes of inactivity (measured by clicks or interactions within the platform). If your session closes, simply log in again to continue. A pop-up notification will alert you before this happens.
  • Password Expiration: To maintain account security, the system will automatically prompt users to create a new password every 6 months.
  • Password History (Do Not Repeat Password): When updating a password, the system will not allow users to reuse their previously used password.
  • User Deactivation Due to Inactivity: If a user does not log in for 90 consecutive days, their account will be automatically deactivated. An email notification will be sent to the user regarding this change.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): This security method adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a verification code sent to the user's email upon login. Once authenticated, users can choose to remember the device so the code is not requested again for a certain period.
  • Active Session Limit: To protect your accounts, users cannot have more than 3 active sessions open simultaneously on different devices. A pop-up message will inform you if this limit is reached.

Customization for Chains and Special Requests:

Hotel chains can customize the following settings:

  • Inactivity logout
  • Password expiration
  • User deactivation due to inactivity
  • Active session limit
