🛠 Configuration of survey parameters

In this article you will be able to review the parameters to be configured in the Onsite and FollowUp surveys, so that you can request the necessary adjustments.

When configuring a survey, there are certain parameters that can be chosen by each hotel according to their needs.

Onsite Survey

  • Survey expiration: The Onsite survey can be answered until the guest's check out time. The Hotel can request that the survey be blocked to be answered X hours before check out, which helps to avoid receiving surveys well before the guest's departure without leaving room for action to correct any inconvenience of their stay.
  • Minimum stay for sending: The Hotel can choose to have the survey answered only by guests staying X nights.
  • Hours to wait to send survey: The Hotel can choose when to send the survey to the guest, indicating how many hours after check-in the survey should be sent. You can also choose to send the survey in the middle of the guest's stay.

FollowUp Survey

  • Survey expiration: The Follow Up survey can be completed at any time after check out. The Hotel can set the expiration so as not to receive surveys from guests long after their stay. This parameter is configured in days and the number of days the guest will have to answer the survey after it is received is chosen, after this time, the survey is blocked.
  • Days post check-out: The Hotel can choose when to send the survey, this parameter is configured in days, indicating how many days after check-out the survey must be sent.
  • Post check-out sending hours: If the sending configuration in days does not suit the Hotel, it can be configured in hours, indicating how many hours after check-out the survey must be sent.
  • Distance between mailings to the same guest: The Hotel can choose not to send the survey to guests who share the same email address, indicating how many days after sending the survey must pass for the survey to be sent again to the same email address. This configuration is generally used for hotels with frequent guests who do not wish to receive the survey every stay.
  • Second mailing: If the guest does not log in the first time the Follow Up survey is received, a second mailing can be configured as a reminder. The hotel must indicate how many days after the first mailing it wants the second mailing to take place, and by default, this second mailing is configured for 5 days after the first mailing.
