How is the IRO calculated?

In this article we explain how our Online Reputation Index is calculated.

The Online Reputation Index (ORI) is an exclusive indicator for myHotel clients, which collects data from thousands of hotels in Latin America from online travel agencies and web review platforms. This score evaluates the reputation of each hotel, allows comparisons with the competition and analyzes the management of the online guest experience in the Latin American hotel industry.

How is IRO measured?

The IRO is a weighted average of the average rating on OTAs, coverage and the number of reviews your guests have generated. It gives as a result from 0 to 100%.
